The extension asks Chrome to block a specific messaging-inbox request from HBO Max. For HBO Max it uses a native Chrome blocking rule without reading request or response bodies. Netflix support incorporates Nikflix. It reads and changes page elements to hide interstitials and provide player controls. It reads playback time, audio/subtitle tracks and title metadata locally, requests title metadata from Netflix, and may cache episode durations in Netflix session storage. These page details and request bodies are not sent to Pluvio. The Netflix player script receives only an enabled flag and expiry time; the trial prompt scripts on Netflix and HBO Max also receive trial status flags; no payment reference or recovery key is sent to the page. It does not send your viewing history to Pluvio.
Stripe hosts checkout and processes your payment information, billing details and email. Card numbers are handled by Stripe; they are not stored in the extension. Pluvio can access payment records in its Stripe merchant account. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
The extension sends a random purchase claim, purchase reference or signed license to Pluvio’s license service to activate and verify access. Payment references and a hash of the purchase claim are stored with Stripe. The extension stores its license, pending purchase claim, blocking preference, trial start time and trial eligibility locally in Chrome until removed, cleared or overwritten by a newer license. It does not sync those values through a publisher account.
Vercel hosts the license service and may process IP addresses and request metadata to serve requests and maintain security. Application code does not log payment credentials, recovery keys, payment details or browsing activity. Hosting-provider logs remain subject to its retention settings and privacy policy.
Data is used to process payments, verify licenses, respond to support requests and prevent misuse. Payment records may be retained for accounting, legal and dispute-handling requirements. License requests retrieve purchase status from Stripe; the service does not maintain a separate customer database. We do not sell customer data or use it for advertising.
You can disable or uninstall the extension and request help with access or deletion at support@pluvio.tech. Some transaction records must be retained as required by law. Keep your recovery key private; anyone with it can attempt to restore your license.
